The event

Wine & Travel Week returns to Porto for its 5th edition, bringing premium wine tourism suppliers and luxury travel buyers together in Portugal.

Wine takes centre stage in a curated programme on hospitality and travel design: pre-scheduled B2B meetings, post tours around Portugal and, as the grand finale, Essência do Vinho at the Palácio da Bolsa.

With the endorsement of Turismo de Portugal, the Great Wine Capitals Global Network as strategic partner and the backing of the Porto Municipality.
Curated buyers
Buyers are selected, not counted: travel designers and buyers from key source markets, with real purchasing power.
The grand finale
The week ends at Essência do Vinho, in the Palácio da Bolsa: from business meetings and post tours to a wine event open to the public.

Two audiences, each with its own admission criteria. Registrations are made on the Essência Company event portal; hosted buyers are subject to approval by the organisation.

Premium and authentic wine tourism projects from around the world: wineries, hotels, associations and wine routes that integrate territory, heritage, culture and nature into their hospitality.

Up to 40 pre-booked B2B meetings of 15 minutes
Access to the matchmaking platform and buyer profiles
A branded table for two, 3 coffee breaks, 2 networking lunches and 2 premium dinners
Your logo on the WTW website, official social media and venue signage

Hosted buyers

Elite travel trade: autonomous tour operators, travel advisors and decision-makers of the global luxury travel industry, actively seeking high-end wine tourism.

By invitation, subject to approval by the organisation
Up to 40 pre-booked B2B meetings of 15 minutes with selected suppliers
Economy flight and 3 nights in a single room at the official hotel
A post tour to one of Portugal’s 7 tourism regions, assigned by preference where possible
